Crown Golf Member Benefits

There are many benefits associated with being a member of a Crown Golf club, none more so than Open Play our unique reciprocal membership scheme providing members with the opportunity to play complimentary golf up to 8 times per year at all other clubs in our group.
 

Golf Breaks : We encourage our members to play and stay at our 3 hotel properties - Abbotsley near Cambridge, Cottesmore near Horsham in Sussex and St Mellion International Resort in Cornwall.  We regularly provide short break exclusive offers to members and if club members choose to stay and play for a minimum of 2 nights we extend free golf as part of the Open Play scheme.
 

Golf Partners : We are proud to offer reciprocal golf in France and Spain with golf operators, Golf Aymerich, Les Nouveux Golf Des France and Chateau Des Vigiers, a magnificent property in the Dordogne.

Golf Insurance :   We have teamed up with Golf Care Insurance providing members with a 30% discount off first year policies.
 

Memb er Guest Discounts : We provide member guests with a reduced green fee when playing at the member’s ‘home’ course.

Advanced Booking & On Line Privileges :  All clubs provide an advance booking window for members and an on-line tee booking service so that members may book a tee time from the comfort of their own home/office at a time that suits them.

Open Play

Membership at a Crown Golf club will give you playing access to 31 clubs in the UK through our 'Open Play' scheme. You can enjoy a total of 54 courses, from inland links to parkland courses and from championship to 9-hole entry level, there's something for everyone within the Crown Golf Club of clubs.

'Open Play' benefits include;

·    You can book at another course in the Crown Golf group, up to 12 days in advance.

·    Members may play at Crown Golf 'sister' clubs up to 8 times each in any calendar year.

·    Crown members with the correct membership booking privileges play free of charge Monday to Friday. Additionally, 7-day members may book and play free of charge after 2pm at the weekend.

·    All bookings are subject to availability on the day you wish to play and we request that members understand the need to be flexible when booking a tee time.

·    The tee times available are subject to local availability & we do our best to accommodate you.

·    We regret that Open Play bookings may not be used as part of a Golf Society booking and your Members Levy card will only work at your 'Home' club.

·    Open Play may not be used as part of a golf break booked >31 days (one month) before the booking date. However, Open Play can be used from 8 - 31 days subject to a minimum 2 night stay. Open Play can also be used on a short-notice Golf Break booked <7 days before the booking date but members will understand the need to be flexible with the tee times offered.

·    Crown members may only book one Open Play tee time and not book multiple tee times.

·    All Crown Golf courses permit a minimum of 2 tee times before 12pm Monday-Friday and after 2pm on weekends.  However, we will do our best to accommodate additional bookings subject to course availability.

·    When arriving to play at a 'sister' course, please make sure you bring your club membership card and one other form of personal ID.

·    The Vale and The Chase GC - members may use open play until 30th June 2010 (from Vale and Chase to a Crown Golf Club or from a Crown Golf club to Vale and Chase)
